After a long lingering illness, John Pedro, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Pedro, passed away on Saturday last. The funeral services on Tuesday were very impressive and largely attended. A requiem mass was said at Saint Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church. Court Sausalito, Foresters of America, turned out in a body to pay their last respects to their deceased brother. The Sausalito Band, of which deceased was a member until health would not permit, turned out and played funeral music. Jack, as he was generally known, was born in the Azores 34 years ago and came to Sausalito when he was two years old, and attended the public schools and afterwards followed his occupation of blacksmithing.
