Evelyn M. Rice
Died in Santa Rosa, December 14, 2001 at age 77 years. Loving wife, for over 56 years, of Clayton Rice of Healdsburg. Loving mother of Dr. Susan Jella and her husband Don Campbell of San Rafael and Clayton K. and his wife Tammy Russell Rice II of Las Vegas, Nevada. Beloved sister of the late Judge David Menary Jr. Beloved sister-in-law of Nancy Menary of San Rafael and Olive Walker of Sacramento. Loving grandmother of David Jella of Folsom, Brian Jella of Santa Rosa, Steven Jella of San Diego and Garrett Rice of Las Vegas. Loving aunt of Kathy Menary Maroney, Lynnie Menary Pelfini, David Menary III, Betty Lindsey and Jerald Rice. Also survived by other nieces and nephews. A native of San Francisco, she was a Life Master bridge player, duplicate bridge player at Healdsburg Senior Center, a Sustaining Member of Rotary Foundation, a member of the Pink Ladies of Marin General Hospital, Charter Member of St. Luke Presbyterian Church of Marin, Past President of the Vine Tremble Circle and Past President of the Country Club Guild of Sunny Hills of Marin County. At her request, no formal services will be held; private Inurnment. Those desiring may make contributions to the Healdsburg General Hospital Memorial Fund, 1375 University, Healdsburg, CA 95448.
