Mrs. Forrest Cobb Dies After Short Illness
Mrs. Forrest A. Cobb, a woman well known and very popular in Marin County, passed away Wednesday morning at the home of her mother, Mrs. Frances Bull, in San Francisco. While Mrs. Cobb has not been in good health for some time, her death came as a shock to her many friends in the county.
Mr. and Mrs. Cobb had lived in Fairfax several years and a year ago moved to Winship park. Mrs. Cobb was a member of the Tamalpais Centre Woman’s club, the Fairfax Woman’s club, and the Dorcas society. A public spirited woman, she was active in affairs concerning the welfare of the community.
Her mother is now so ill that she has not been told of the death.
The funeral is to be held from Gray’s parlors, San Francisco, on Friday afternoon, May 29th. Rev. A. Craig Bowdish of the Fairfax Community church will officiate.
Mrs. Cobb leaves a four year old son, Forrest A. Cobb, Jr.
