Court Will Decide Boland Beneficiary

The Central and Southern Pacific R. R. Employees Mutual Benefit Association, has filed a petition in the Superior court naming Edna Mary Boland and Sara Berry Boland, as defendants to ascertain which of the two defendants are entitled to $2000 held by the Association, on a certificate of Walter Edward Boland now dead.

Edna Boland is Boland’s first wife and Sara Boland is his second wife. Both claim the amount or an equal share. The community property laws of the state are involved. The first wife refused to waive her rights, and the original certificate, held by Boland has been lost.
