Clergyman Bequeaths Money For War Work

So impressed was the Rev. Dr. George Granville Eldredge (sic), former pastor of St. John’s Presbyterian church in Berkeley, who died recently of pneumonia, superinduced by hardships that he underwent while in war service work in the Vosges mountains with the American troops, that he willed a part of his Berkeley estate to the War Work Committee.

Dr. Eldridge was well known here, having graduated from the Seminary at San Anselmo in 1897.
