Contest Filed In Shdbourne Estate

W. R. Shadbourne last Saturday filed suit in San Francisco to contest the disposition of the $500,000 estate of the late Colonel George D. Shadbourne, who died in Alameda last week. Mrs. Florence McKay Shadbourne, second wife and widow of the deceased, is named as defendant. The plaintiff is one of four children by Colonel Shadbourne’s first marriage. There are also four children by the second marriage. Colonel Shadbourne, before his death, made a deed of gift to his wife of all the property owned by him.
