An Odd Will

George W. Taylor, a prominent resident of Northern Marin who died in Sonoma Grove recently left an odd will, which has been filed for probate by his wife, Mrs. Molly C. Taylor:
In the name of God, Amen.
1, George W. Taylor of the County of Marin, State of California, of the age of thirty-eight years, and being of sound and disposing mind and memory, and not acting under duress, menace, fraud, or undue influence of any person whatever do make, publish and declare this my last Will and testament, in manner following, that is to say :
First, 1 direct that my executrix as soon us she has sufficient funds in her hand, pay my funeral expenses and the expenses of my last illness.
Thirdly, I direct that all my just debts, liabilities, and obligations be discharged with as much expedition as consistent with the proper administration .of my estate.
Fourthly, I give and bequeath to J. Boas formerly of 439 Montgomery St., San Francisco, the sum of live hundred dollars.
Fifthly. I give and bequeath to Chas Stolker of Petaluma the sum of five hundred dollars.
Sixthly. I give and bequeath to R. H. Jones formerly of 502 .Washington Street, San Francisco, the sum of five hundred dollars,
J, Boas, Chas, Stolker, and R. H. Jones above mentioned have long been my. faithful friends, and good advisors and I desire that they understand that I am not ungrateful for their kindness.
Seventhly. I give and bequeath to Kitty Cosgrove. formerly of 693 Lombard Street, San Francisco, the sum of One Thousand Dollars.
Eighthly.. I give and bequeath to Mrs. D. M, Cashin and to Mrs. J. A. Williamson the sum of ten dollars. Ninthly. 1 give and bequeath to Alex Elliott known as A. C, Taylor, the sum of ten dollars.
Tenthly, I give and bequeath to my God-son, James Pendergast of 2626 Folsom street, San Francisco, the sum of two thousand five hundred dollars.
Eleventhly, I give and devise all the rest, residue and remainder of my estate, real, personal or mixed of whatever nature or kind to my bride-to-be, Molly Reilly of San Francisco.
I make this devise and revoke my former will knowing that if 1 live until we are married, Molly Reilly, whom I have known twelve years, will be to me an honest, faithful and loving helpmate, and believe that in the event I should die before our marriage no other person would put my fortune to better use than she.
Twelfthly. I hereby nominate and appoint Molly Reilly, executrix of this my last will and testament, to serve without bonds, and it is mv will that she at any time during administration have power to dispose of any of the property at her option.
Thlrteenthly. If any person otherwise entitled to a right under this will contests the same or in any manner attempts to prevent the execution of its terms then any clause under which such person claimed a right is null and void.
Lastly. I hereby revoke all former wills by me made.
In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and seal this first day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and six.

The foregoing Instrument consisting of two pages besides this, was, at the date thereof, by the said George W. Taylor signed, and sealed and published as, and declared to be his last will and testament, in presence of us who at his request, and in his presence and in the presence of each other, have subscribed our names as witnesses thereto. .
