Highway Victim Bought Insurance Prior To Death
Five days before 19-year-old Monika Karen Boes was killed in the crash of her automobile on the St. Vincent’s grade of Highway 101, she had purchased a $5,000 life insurance policy, with double indemnity for accidental death.
This was disclosed today by Boris Dragon, of the LeRud Agency of San Rafael, who sold her the policy, made out to her sister, Mrs. Gudrun Elizabeth Wong of Novato, as beneficiary, on June 3.
On the night of June 7, Miss Boes, who lived at a motel when her car went out of control and threw her onto the highway.
The policy will be paid, said the insurance agency.
