Wheelwright Willed Part of Ranch

Hope Livermore Wheelwright, 60, left her half of the famed Green Gulch Ranch at Muir Beach to her husband, George W. Wheelwright III, her will revealed yesterday.

The will, signed July 14 and filed in Marin Superior Court, said that, on his death, her part of the ranch will go to Synanon Foundation in San Francisco for charitable or agricultural purposes.

Should the inheritance by Synanon be invalid, Mrs. Wheelwright said, her half of the ranch should go to the Nature Conservancy, a non-profit organization based in Washington, D.C.

Besides other bequests to her husband, Mrs. Wheelwright left $24,500 to be divided among six friends, and $2,000 to an orphan through Foster Parents Plan, Inc., New York.

She bequeathed $25,000 to each of her three children by a previous marriage, Arthur Blake Richardson of 16 Greenwood Way, Mill Valley, Constance Richardson Boden of Marblehead, Mass., and Philip Livermore Richardson of Saunderstown, R.I., and to each of her husband’s two children by a previous marriage, George W. Wheelwright IV of New Canaan, Conn., and Michael C. Wheelwright of Santa Barbara.

Mrs. Wheelwright, who named her husband executor of her estate, died Oct. 18.
