Sbragia Estate Left To Widow, Friends, Charity
Victor A. Sbragia, 77, of San Anselmo, former San Francisco civic leader, left a will giving $63,000 to friends and charities and $17,500 to his widow.
His will was filed for probate yesterday in Marin Superior Court. Sbragia, former San Francisco fire commissioner, was a partner in a San Francisco mortuary until he retired in 1953. He died Wednesday after a long illness.
To his widow, Ida, goes $17,000 in cash, property at 9 Pastori Avenue, Fairfax, and their joint bank account in San Anselmo, according to Sbragia’s will, dated Feb. 5, 1958.
The will leaves $25,000 to the Shriner’s Hospital for Crippled Children, and $5,000 each to the National Heart Fund, Cancer Assn., and March of Dimes.
Lesser amounts are willed to individuals and organizations including $2,500 to the archbishop of Hanna Center for Boys in Sonoma and $1,000 to Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.
