$65,000 Trust Is Set Up For Marin Woman

A $65,000 trust fund for Miss Edythe Foster of San Rafael was provided in the will of her cousin, Mrs. Philip Van Horne Lansdale, who died at the age of 92 in her San Francisco home Feb. 1.

The will, on file for probate in San Francisco, provides that principal and income from the trust are to go to the grandchildren of the late Mrs. George B. Pillsbury of Ross, Mrs. Lansdale’s sister.

Mrs. Lansdale was a former summer resident of San Rafael. For a number of years she lived part of each year in a home built on Irwin Street by her father, Sidney Mason Smith, an early-day president of California Packing Corp. The home, long a showplace, is still standing.
