$71,000 Given To Danish Home

Sophie Harting, 97, the oldest resident of Aldersly Danish Home in San Rafael at time of her death, left her estate of over $71,000 to the home, a final accounting of her estate disclosed yesterday in Marin Superior Court.

The estate consisted of nearly $13,000 cash, and the remainder in stocks and bonds. Miss Harting died Aug. 28, 1966, and had raised (sic) at the home, 326 Mission Avenue, since 1948.

She came to the United States in 1885 from Denmark, lived in Pasadena and San Mateo, then lived in San Francisco two years before going to the home.
