$27,000 Estate Of Jorgen Jorgensen Remains Unclaimed
Investigators into the estate of the late Jorgan Jorgansen (sic), who died at the County Hospital Feb. 3, have been unable to locate any legal heirs of the aged recluse, and at the same time it was revealed that a small fortune of approximately $27,000 in cash and real estate remained to be distributed.
The estate is being administrated by Public Administrator J. R. Keaton. His attorney, Jordan L. Martinelli confirmed the statement that a fruitless search for heirs is being made; that there was $20,000 cash in two banks and $7000 in real estate in three counties and that the 82-year-old retired Danish watchmaker left no will.
Final distribution cannot be made for five years, after which it will revert to the state treasury in favor of the state school funds, provided no legal heirs intervene.
