This building still exists. It's a San Francisco Landmark.

According to an article on sfgate.com: "Built in 1912 after the previous Armory on Page and Gough was destroyed in the 1906 earthquake, the Armory on the SW corner of Mission and 14th streets was used by the National Guard until 1976 when they relocated to Fort Funston..."
