At the moment, I am working on a project concerning the Chinese view of the 1900 plague in San Francisco's Chinatown. The Dispensary was primarily an outpatient institution with limited inpatient beds for emergencies, a Christian organization staffed by Western volunteer physicians and Chinese herbalists
