My brother was in the SF Boys Choir in 1958/60. The Vienna Boys Choir came to SF to perform at the Opera House. They had a day off & it was also a school holiday.The boys from SF took the Vienna Boys out sight seeing.My mom volunteered my older sister to drive (she was 19)-she told my brother to go pick 3 boys, so he went & got 2 boys his age & one of the chaperones (he was about 21). It was a really fun day - we went all over the place - and my sister got to go have dinner with the Vienna Boys Choir that night and corresponded with the chaperone for about 15 years.
