BOY - Did your post bring back memories!!!! I went to Mar Vista as well from about 1965 to 1966. I cannot remember the name of the giant black horse that nobody wanted to ride because of his temperment. I was given a private lesson one day on him and from then on I always picked him/her. I want to say Midnight but I'm not positive. That horse loved to buck. I was only in 2 horse shows and had to quit because of a broken ankle. I still think of those lessons when I drive past on Skyline. GREAT DAYS !! Thanks
