Every few years as my niece was growing up, I would bring her up to San Francisco to experience the wealth of history and culture that really isn't available elsewhere in the West.

One of those times was her first professional musical (and mine): WICKED. It was making it's pre-Broadway debut at the Curran in 2003. Who knew it would go on to win Tony awards.

My niece was sixteen at the time. I hope it's one of those memories she will cherish in her years to come.
