Hi, Inez Jones was my grandmother, I am desperately trying to find the album she made in 1957 with Oscar Moore. And I agree her voice was beautiful. She sang at The Filmore to a standing room only audience for years until the manager fired her over something very small, when asked to return, she declined. Any information you have will be greatly appreciated.
: Inez Jones, a velvet throated jazz singer at a bar (The Rainbow?) in the Haight-Ashbury district in the 196Os. She could sing anything, and had the most beautiful voice since, and maybe including, Ella Fitzgerald.
