My favorite spot is in the middle of the bay -- Treasure Island. I danced on the stage there in '39 for the Expo, and I was married in the Naval chapel there. My husband was stationed there with the Marine Band. I just happened to be in the area for a high school reunion in 1997 and stopped by the chapel. They had just held the last services ever to be held there. It's sad now to see that very special island so desolate and deserted.
