During my forative years from Napa Valley, on my birthday each year my folks took my sister and I to the Cow Palace to see the big ICE shows....as a young girl had lofty dreams of being an ice dancer, but ended up a nurse instead. It was great fun to go to "Frisco" and dinning at the Wharf also was a yearly affair.
