Many memories of Playland...One spring my family and I were at Playland. I remember receiving a raffle ticket from a person dressed in a Bunny costume (It was around Easter time) I must have been around 8 or 9 years old. As we were walking around and looking for the next ride to go on, I hear my name being announced over the loud speaker...."Judy Hiltman please come to the office. You have won the $10 prize!" My mother (I think) takes me to the office, they give me a little bag with 10 silver dollars, they congratulate me and ask me my name and age, all while announcing this over the PA system! How exciting for a little girl! I was a celebrity for one day! I remember people stopping me and congratulating me. I remember giving my sisters each a $1 coin. A lot of money in 1968!
