It was quite an experience for me when I was a child to go to the magnificent Fox Theatre on Market St. to see "The Ten Commandments".The movie was spectacular in a spectacular movie theatre.I remember going to the restroom there with all of the marble on the floors and feeling like I was in a palace.There was a sitting room there grandly appointed in luxurious fabrics.I remember lots of dark red rich fabrics throughout the building.
