Boy's Favorite Cookies
Cream half a cup of butter, add 1 cup sugar, 2 cups flour, 2 teaspoonfuls baking powder, 1/4 teaspoonful of salt sifted together, 2 well beaten eggs, 2 Tablespoonfuls of milk and 2 teaspoonfuls of flavoring extract. Roll out into a sheet about 1/8 of an inch thickness on a well floured board. Cut with a biscuit cutter and put in greased pans. Caraway seeds or seeded raisins can be pressed with the bowl of a teaspoon into the top of the cookies and then brushed over with milk.
