A visit with my Great Grandmother Mathilda L. Voigts. With her twin neices there: Annie and Tillie Schulken. They all lived through the 1906 earthquake and fire. Annie and Tillie were the oldest still living, set of twins to make it through in the 1980's. I would ask G-Grandma for a photograph of my Great Grandfather Fred Voigts and ask her about him. I would also talk to Annie and Tillie about growing up in a middle class family back then and what they all thought of the quake & fire. I could then come back and write it all up for the family history book.
