LAWTON - in this city, September 18, 1890, Mary, beloved mother of Michael and John LAWTON, a native of county Waterford, Ireland.
Dead; Dead; Is dear grandma dead?
Has the warm heart ceased to beat?
Will she never more see her dear ones,
Or, in loving their names repeat?
Hush! dear ones, your willfed murmurings-
Her soul is with her God on high;
The earth contains naught but the casket-
The jewel is set in the sky. -Mary-
