Daily Alta California of 5 Feb 1870, page 4: “In this city, Feb. 4, Frank HAPPERSBERGER, a native of Germany, aged 40 years. Friends and acquaintances of the family are respectfully invited to attend the funeral tomorrow (Sunday), at 2 o’clock P. M., from his late residence, No. 20 Belden street, between Pine and Bush, without further notice.”
