FRANCIS X. STEFFEN

In this city July 19 Francis Xavier Steffen, 83, 697 Hanover Street died after an illness.

A retired stage mechanic he had resided five years in this county.

Survivors include his wife Anita; a son, Eugene; a daughter, Frances Olsen; three brothers, Paul, Gerhardt, and Henry; four sisters, Daisy Grafe, Rita Wright, Josephine Hovis, and Madeline Brook.

Services were held Saturday from W.C. Lasswell Mortuary with interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
