SOPHIA MASSEY

Funeral services will be held Monday in Hugo, Oklahoma, for Mrs. Sophia Massey, 66, who died suddenly in San Francisco, July 18.

A native of Weir City, Kansas, she had lived in Pacifica for four years, residing at 1538 Crespi Drive.

She was the wife of the late James T. Massey of Valiant, Oklahoma, and the mother of the late Thomas G. Massey, U.S. Army. She is survived by her children, Mrs. Jo June Holt of Oklahoma; Mrs. Marily Dossey, Texas; Mrs. Betty Duke and John E. Massey, both of Oregon; Mrs. Ludia Manuel, Mrs. Mel Tice, Edward B. Massey and Gus D. Massey, all of California. Two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Lafferty and Mrs. Flo Dickie, both live in California, and another sister, Mrs. Evelyn Estes is of Oklahoma. Two brothers, John and Charlie Moats, live in Arkansas. 18 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren are also listed.

Local arrangements were by the Nauman and Lincoln Mortuary, 322 Maple Avenue, South San Francisco.
