Marie F. Weeks

Marie F. Weeks, a 22-year resident of Pescadero, died Aug. 2 at the Santa Cruz Health Care Center in Santa Cruz. She was 80.

A San Jose native, Mrs. Weeks worked for 25 years as a receptionist for Ambrose Cowden and Associates, a medical group, in Santa Cruz.

Mrs. Weeks loved animals and gardening. She came to Pescadero upon her marriage to her second husband, Edward Weeks, in 1984.

She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Edward Weeks, a son, a daughter, two stepdaughters and grandchildren.

Memorial services were held Saturday, Aug. 5, at the Pescadero Cemetery.
