LAVERN WENTZEL

Requiem Mass at Our Lady of Mercy Church followed funeral services Monday morning from Duggan’s Serra Mortuary for Lavern (Vern) Wentzel of Daly City, who died, July 29.

The deceased was the husband of Gertrude F. Wentzel and the father of Patricia Ann and Roberta Ellen Wentzel.

A native of St. Louis, Mo., he was 49. Memberships included the Housewares Club of Southern California.

Interment was at Holy Cross Cemetery.
