EDWARD TRIER

Daly City friends of Edward R. Trier, a long-time resident of this city, were saddened this week to learn of his death Jan. 5 in Temple City, California.

Mr. Trier was the husband of the late Marcie I. Trier, former Daly City librarian.

The deceased was a charter member of Daly City Post #410 of the American Legion. He was a past commander of the Post and had served as Chaplain of the organization for many years. He was also a member of the San Mateo Chapter of the DAV.

Mr. Trier’s remains were brought from the recent home in Temple City to the Bay Area for burial last Friday at Golden Gate National Cemetery.
