Gary Phillip Scalice At rest after a brief battle with cancer. He was the loving son of the late Otto Scalice. He is survived by his loving family: mother, Violet Scalice; brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Susan Scalice; niece, Julie Francisco and nephew, Matthew Scalice. He was a 30-year member of Teamsters Local 665. Gary, along with many other Teamsters was a strong believer that somewhere in Texas there is a village missing an idiot. As an avid musician, one of his true joys was being a member of the Golden Chordsmen Chorus. The family would like to thank the members of the chorus, as well as all of Gary's friends, for their love and support throughout Gary's life. Gary will be dearly missed. Friends may attend a Funeral Service Sat., Oct. 28th, Olivet Memorial Park, 1601 Hillside Blvd., Colma, CA, at 10AM. In lieu of flowers, family requests that contributions be made in memory of Gary to the Jean Weingarten Peninsula Oral School for the Deaf at 3518 Jefferson Ave., Redwood City, CA 94062.
