JACOB PETZINGER

A Requiem Mass was offered last Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church for Captain Jacob A. Petzinger, a veteran San Francisco Bay skipper and member of a family of river captains. He was 77.

Capt. Petzinger was the husband of Blanche R. Petzinger and the father of Mary Jane Kane. A native of Stockton, he was a member of C.C. Thomas Navy Post #244 and a retired Master Mariner.

Interment was at Golden Gate National Cemetery after funeral arrangements by Duggan’s Serra Mortuary.
