HOMER MORRISON
Memorial services were held Thursday evening at Broadmoor Presbyterian Church for Homer Lawson Morrison, 75, who died in Daly City July 27.
Mr. Morrison was the husband of Aimee L. Morrison and the father of Horace L. Morrison of Daly City and Harriet S. Morrison of New York City. He was the grandfather of Wendy L. Morrison.
A native of Elmwood, Indiana, the deceased was a administrator for the Federal Bureau on Indian Affairs in Arizona, New Mexico, Wisconsin, Washington, South Dakota and Minnesota. He retired in 1951 while living in Tacoma, Wash., where he was active in the First Presbyterian Church of that city. His affiliations included the Rotary Club, Westlake Senior Citizens; Broadmoor Presbyterian Church, where he was on the staff of the Sunday School; California Consistory of Scottish Rite and Tacoma Lodge #22, F&AM.
The memorial service was conducted by Rev. Herbert C. Tweedle, pastor of Broadmoor Presbyterian. After arrangement by Duggan’s Serra Mortuary, burial was at Mountain View Cemetery in Tacoma under the auspices of Tacoma Masonic Lodge.
