EDITH BISS

Mrs. Edith Biss, 86, 522 Chestnut Street, San Carlos, died yesterday at Sequoia Hospital, after an illness. She was a native of Wales, and was a local resident 41 years.

Survivors include two sons, Leonard, Greenbrae, and Stanley, Fairfax; and a daughter, Mrs. Normandene Hinman, San Carlos; a sister Mrs. Gertrude Legge, Sausalito; eight grandchildren, 16 graet grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

She was a charter member of the Baywood Circle, San Mateo Congregational Church.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the Crippen & Flynn chapel, Redwood City, with interment at Cypress Lawn Cemetery, Colma.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Heart or Cancer funds.
