EDWARD OAKES

A native of Colma, Edward L. Oakes, 61, died in Burlingame June 10.

Mr. Oakes, husband of Bernice Oakes, was the father of Linda Oakes and Mrs. Kaye Browder and the son of Gertrude A. Oakes and the late Edward Oakes. Survivors include his brothers, Harry J., Harold T. and Robert E. Oakes, and his grandson, Michael R. Browder.

Funeral services were conducted from W.C. Lasswell & Co. Friday morning. Interment at Holy Cross followed Requiem Mass at Holy Angels Church.
