Woman Dies Of Injuries In DC Crash

Alice Yohopenic of San Francisco died Saturday afternoon after being in a coma since a May 13 Daly City automobile accident, just a few hours before the driver of the care was scheduled to appear in superior court to face a felony drunk driving charge.

Mrs. Yohopenic died at Mary’s Help Hospital. She had been a passenger in a car driven by Willie Tillman of 1265 Galvez, SF, when Tillman’s car struck a concrete filled steel pole.

Mrs. Yohopenic had been thrown through the windshield of the car upon impact and died after being in coma with multiple head injuries.

The accident occurred at the intersection of Geneva Avenue and Rio Verde St.
