JOSEPH BERNING

Duggan’s Serra Mortuary conducted funeral services Monday morning for Joseph H. Berning, 58, a native of Iowa, who died in Daly City June 21.

Mr. Berning was the husband of Theresa Bernig and the father of Leroy Berning of Colma and Joanne Berning. He was the grandfather of Monica and Bruce Berning. Survivors include his father, Joseph, and brothers Carl, Louis, Albert, Bill and the Rev. F.J. Berning, and a sister, Rose Heller, all of Iowa.
