STEVEN ERNEST ORTIZ

Steven Ernest Ortiz died February 1 in San Francisco. He was ten years old.

A Requiem Mass was said Friday at St. Bruno’s Catholic Church in San Bruno.

A native of California, he had lived in San Mateo County for six years, where he resided with his parents, Ernest and Barbara Ann Ortiz, at 68 Buena Vista Avenue, San Bruno. He was a student at the Belle Air School.

Besides his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Gregory and Brian, and three sisters, Vallarie, Vanessa, and Deborah, all of San Bruno. His grandmother, Mrs. Mary Ortiz, lives in San Mateo, and his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Ann Kindred, in Oregon.

Private interment followed the service. Funeral arrangements were by the San Bruno Funeral Home.
