LEO P. DAY
Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 12:30 p.m. from the Nauman and Lincoln Chapel By The Sea Mortuary, 801 Oceana Boulevard, Pacifica, for Leo P. Day, who died suddenly in Daly City, March 1. He was 52.
He was an employee of the City of Pacifica and had resided at 1241 Peralta Drive in that city. A native of Rochester, New York, he was a Chief Warrant Officer, USA, (ret.), and a member of the Coastside Lodge, 762, F&AM, Pacifica, and the Pacifica American Lodge Post 238.
He is survived by his wife, Elaine L. Day, and was the father of Kenneth A. Day, USAF, Lowry Field, Denver, Colorado, and Sharon Louise Day, a student at Brigham Young University, Salt Lake City, Utah. Also surviving are brothers Raymond DiFazio of Mountain View, Joseph, Samuel, and Anthony DiFazio all of New York, and sisters Miss Josephine DiFazio, Los Angeles; Mrs. Ella Romano, New York; and Sister Catherine, Holy Teacher Felippini, New Jersey.
The funeral services will be conducted under the auspices of the Coastside Lodge, and interment will follow at Golden Gate National Cemetery.
American Legion memorial services will be conducted this evening at 7:30 by the Pacifica Post at the Chapel, 801 Oceana Boulevard.
