PIA R. CASERZA

A Requiem Mass was said yesterday at Holy Angels Catholic Church in Colma for Pia R. Caserza, member of a prominent pioneer Colma family, who died there January 3.

A native of Italy, she had lived in California for 63 years, 40 years in Colma, where she resided at 516 “C” Street.

She was the wife of Onorato J. Caserza and is survived by daughters Josephine Beese and Rose Battilana, and a son, Julius J. Caserza. Three grandchildren, Dean and Gary Caserza and Nancy Battilana, are also listed, as is a sister, Antonette Paladini and brother, John Morosi.

Entombment was at Holy Cross Mausoleum. Funeral arrangements were by Duggan’s Serra Mortuary.
