MILDRED M. ATKINSON

Memorial services were held Monday in San Mateo for Mildred M. Atkinson, wife of George H. Atkinson, president of the Guy F. Atkinson Construction Company, Mrs. Atkinson, who was 62, died February 2 at her home in San Mateo.

She was a native of Oregon City, Oregon, and had been a member of the national executive committee of the Methodist Church Television, Radio, and Film Commission. She also was active in the Women’s Society for Christian Service, the Pastoral Relations Committee, and was a youth counselor. She was a member of the San Mateo County Hospital Auxiliary.

Surviving are her husband, and a daughter, Lois Atkinson, of Burlingame. Three sons are listed, Ray N. Atkinson of Hillsborough and Duane E. Atkinson, and Earl H. Atkinson, both of Burlingame. 12 grandchildren also survive.
