EDITH C. AMES

Funeral services were held yesterday in Oakland fro Mrs. Edith C. Ames, who died January 18 in Walnut Creek.

She was the mother of Carolyn Anne Ames of Daly City, and is also survived by her husband, Harold F. Ames, and another daughter, Anita Truhlar of Alameda. She was the sister of Mrs. Phelps Chamberlain of Piedmont and Edward C. Herlitz, Bodega Bay. Two grandchildren are also listed.

She was a native of Berkeley.

Private inurnment followed the service.
