ED MALONE

Masonic funeral services were conducted yesterday at 12:30 from W.C. Lasswell for Orie (Ed) Malone, 65, who died suddenly in SF Jan. 12.

Survivors of Mr. Malone include his wife, Isabella A. Malone, past matron and current secretary of Crocker Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star; his daughter Mrs. Margaret Miller, past matron of Crocker chapter; his son, Edward, his mother, and a brother who resides in Tennessee.

The deceased was a member of California Bodies Scottish Rite; past patron of Crocker Chapter OES #382; and member of Crocker Lodge #454 F&AM for which he currently was Junior Warden. Mr. Malone retired about a year ago from Hunter’s Point Naval Shipyard, where he was employed for many years.

Burial was at Olivet Memorial Park.
