EDWARD C. SOMMER

Edward C. Sommer, brother of Paul Sommer of Daly City, died March 30 in San Jose. Funeral services were held Monday in San Jose.

A native of California, he was 68. He was a member of the Emanu El and B’nai B’rith Lodge, No. 868.

He was the husband of Anita R. Sommer of San Jose, and the father of Dr. Raymond Sommer, Santa Clara and Lt. Comdr. Melvin Sommer, San Jose. Also surviving are his sisters, Mrs. Lottie Shane of Oakland and Mrs. Leah Steinberg, San Francisco, and eight grandchildren.
