PETER J. BALLESTRASSE

Funeral services were held Friday in South San Francisco for Peter J. Ballestrasse, who died April 25 in San Francisco. A native of San Francisco, he was 56.

He has resided at 752 Cottonwood Avenue in South San Francisco, and was a member of the South San Francisco Elks Lodge, No. 2091. He had been an employee for many years with the Sunset Scavenger Company.

He is survived by his wife, Claire, and was the father of Mrs. Dolores Guilani, and Patricia and David Ballestrasse, all of South San Francisco. He was the grandfather of Marie, Richard, Catherine, and Theresa Guiliani and the father-in-law of Richard Guiliani. He was the brother of John, Anthony, Mario, and the late Dominic Ballestrasse, and the nephew of Luigia Spinetta and Celestina Bassestrasse. He is also survived by sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces.

Interment was at Skylawn Memorial Park. Funeral arrangements were by the Nauman and Lincoln Mortuary, South San Francisco.
