EPINEMIO TORREZ

Requiem mass was celebrated at Our Lady of Mercy Church Friday morning for Epinemio Torrez, 74, who died Jan. 2.

The World War I veteran was the husband of Maria F. Torrez of 1524 Sweetwood, Colma, and the father of Emilio, Ferdinand and Ted Torrez, Leonard Valario, Mrs. Margaret Palmer, Mrs. Bernice Gay, Mrs. Frances Reynolds, and Mrs. Cailda Ruef. Other relatives, including 19 grandchildren, also survive him.

Funeral arrangements were made by W.C. Lasswell & Co. Mr.Torres’ remains were forwarded to the National Cemetery in Portland for interment.
