LESTER CARLSON

An employee of the Pacifica Sanitation Department, Lester Carlson, 56, died in Redwood City Dec. 17.

The native of Illinois was the father of Leslie and Eddie Carlson of Vallejo and the stepfather of Mrs. Karen Goodsell of that city and Melvin Hopkins of Fairfield.

A World War II veteran, Mr. Carlson was a member of Grand Lodge, International Assn. Of Machinists.

Funeral services will be conducted today at 3:30 from Nauman-Lincoln’s Chapel by the Sea in Pacifica. Interment will be at Golden Gate National Cemetery.
