MAX WICKE JR.

Early morning services were conducted yesterday from the Chapel of Valente, Marini, Perata & Co., for Max J. Wicke Jr., 25, who died Sept. 10 in a Brisbane Speedway accident.

The popular racing driver, considered on of Northern California’s most competent drivers, was the son of Max J. and Frieda Wicke and the brother of Nancy Wicke. He was a native of San Francisco.

Requiem Mass was celebrated at the Church of the Epiphany. From there the cortege moved to Holy Cross Cemetery for interment.
